Today is the first day of my new Blog. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm sure I'll learn!
From time to time I'll be adding to this blog to include favorite recipes and how I've made them even better than before, menus that have been a success, and other tips I've learned. I've taken cooking classes for nearly 30 years, and have more than a thousand successful recipes.
Beginning around May 27, 2009, I'll be blogging about our family trip to historic Armenia (Western Armenia aka Eastern Anatolia) and Istanbul. When we can get to decent internet connections, I'll be updating everyone on our trip including pictures.
How did I get my Blog name? Benjamin was my best buddy and companion for 9 1/2 years. He died unexpectedly at 11 1/2 years old in late August 2008. Even though he's gone, and a new dog will join the family one of these days, Benj will always be my first and most loved companion and I'll always be Benjzmom.
